Following the success of last season for our 2nd team, playing a record number of games, and going from strength to strength as the season went on has meant we will now be competing in the Warwickshire 2A league for the 23/24 season.

Fixtures will be both home and away in the Warwickshire 2A league and will need to be played by the end of 2023 or early 2024. Following these the top 3 teams from both Warwickshire 2A & 2B will break off into a secondary competition in the new year with the winner of that being champions of the 23/24 season Warwickshire 2’s league.

Head coach Josh Biggs said “last year was great to set the foundations for the 2nd team, after picking up some great results against some of these sides the 23/24 season will be certainly exciting, the 2nd team is so important to our club giving playing opportunities for so many players that when needed to be called upon in the 1st team it is a smooth transition”

2nd Team captain Adam Owen has said “As coach Biggs has mentioned, last year was a platform for the squad to gel and develop as one. The progression over the games we had was really positive and I’m really excited to be heading into the league. The motivated mindset of the squad is great and I think we’ve got a really successful season ahead of us!"
