Setting Availability and Confirming Selection


To help make organising football easy, every player is asked to download the Pitchero app on iPhone or Android.

There are two stages to the process of putting a team together, both require each every player's involvement.

Availability

This helps determine to management WHO is available for fixtures. There are three statuses, Available, Not Sure and Unavailable

Selection

Management will review who is set as Available (and 'Not Sure') 3 days before the fixture and will make a squad selection, at which point players will need to confirm they can play or contact Management (i.e. struggling with injury, etc)

Setting your Availability

All fixtures are added for the season and we ask all players to update their availability as far in advance as possible with fixtures they know they can't attend... Birthday weekends, weddings, holidays etc. This helps us forward plan and let the league know about serious issues.

When opening the app, click the icon in the top left hand corner to show the menu:

With the menu open, click Availability:

Tap the fixture to change your Availability, any highlighted fixtures mean you haven't said your Availability:

If you want to leave a comment or reason for absence on this fixture, press the pencil on the right hand side (This comment is seen by management only):

Confirming your selection

When you're selected in the squad for a fixture, you'll receive an email and a push notification. You can confirm your selection in the app by opening the app, going to the icon in the left hand corner and selection 'Confirmation' from the menu:
