We have to keep motivated to keep standards high and keep picking up points to finish as high as we can. This isn’t an easy place to go but we need to start letting the handbrake off a little more and get more bodies forward. I’m looking forward to a strong end to the season."

Facing Glossop is Colne, currently 10th in the league and demonstrating formidable form with three wins, two draws, and one defeat in their last six fixtures. Spearheaded by Lucas Weaver, who earned the accolade of the North West Counties Football League player of the month for January 2024, Colne pose a significant offensive threat, with Weaver boasting an impressive tally of 33 goals in 33 appearances.

Previous encounters this season between these two sides, both within a week of each other in August 2023, one in the FA Cup and the other in the league, both resulted in 2-1 victories for Colne, with Harry Freedman finding the net in both meetings for the Hillmen.
