Garforth's own chubby funster BIG FAT WINGER is back and this week he will be sharing his views on Garforth's new lads

Is anyone else starting to get the itch? And no I don’t mean something picked up by some Shirley I mean the rugby itch. Your pal Big Fat Winger is feeling it.
This year it was decided to shorten our end of season break to a few weeks to allow us extra time to touch up on the basics and to keep us ticking over. It was hoped this would negate the need for the traditional lung busting, stomach churning pre-season fitness sessions which is liable to break me out in a cold sweat just contemplating it. This seems to have paid dividends as thanks to Jonny Fallas training has been good quality with some new faces showing up. Here’s BFW’s opinions on the new lads:-
• Kenny Kitchen – AKA Kenny Contact, loves the hard stuff, never stepped in his life. A proper forward. Worst kick tennis technique on the planet.
• Clint Duckworth – AKA Glen, better looking than his brother but just as injury prone. Good dancing feet – when fit.
• Joe Foster – Speed merchant whose better looking than Clint, I also hear he’s a better dancer.
• Tom Morley – Quiet guy whose in really good shape – obviously a hitman.
• Danny Collins – Brother of old fan favourite Bobby Seaside. A hooker who likes to hover around the touchline, could hit a jumper on the centre spot in the lineout.
• Adam Spence – AKA Spenner, he’s done things you’ve only seen on certain websites that the FBI are monitoring. Can play a bit too.
The opening game against Marist will be here before we know it so let’s make sure we all get down training so we’re ready to put in a big performance and make a statement of intent to the rest of the league.
