Congratulations to the Under 12's on retaining their postions as winners of the Thornbury Cup. For the second year in a row the team outperformed the opposition beating Thornbury, Dursley and St. Brendans. Special praise to Kieran on his performance and sportmanship, this was noted in an email to me by a parent fron another team:
I just wanted to praise one of your players for today. Kieran played fantastic rugby but his sportsmanship and the spirit in which he played out shone all of this. My son recieved a few knocks from tackles with Kieran (all legal plays) and each time when play stopped Kieran came over to see how Adam was. Please pass my praise on to him and his family as I know people can be quick to critisise a team but forget to praise a good spotsman.
