A rugby club with a golfing problem...

The Footscray RUFC golf season kicks off on Thursday 06 April with a trip to Warley Park Golf Club, Brentwood. The society are taking 15 avid golfers to the murky streets of Essex for the first fixture of the season.

We aim to hold 3-4 golf days per year, varying from courses near to the club to those slightly further afield. We will try to keep costs manageable for each outing to help ensure we get as many attendees as possible. Recommendations of courses to play are always welcome. In addition, we look to organise a Golf Tour each year, details of which will be communicated at the earliest opportunity.

To join the Society, a deposit of £20 is required, which makes you eligible to play in all golf events and win Golfer of the Year. This deposit is refundable at the end of the year, or can be rolled over to the following year, should you wish to continue playing with us.

For anyone keep on joining the society, please contact the Footscray RUFC Golf Captain, Mike Worms.

Hurrah the Club!!
