Birkenhead born Oli was born with cerebral palsy, but despite his condition he joined Tranmere Rovers as an eight year old, thanks to his determination to play football.He subsequently represented England's cerebral palsy team, and moved to Chester Youth, making his first team appearance as an 18 year old in a Cheshire Senior Cup match against Hyde, appearing in a 3-0 win.
Oli was also a member of the GB Paralympics football squad in Rio in 2016. He joined Flint from Vauxhall Motors.
