Following Nick Cox's late winner against Pershore Town on Saturday, Danny Janes said it generates the best feeling in football.

Tom Daccus had opened the scoring in the game during the first half before a Steve Ruck own goal just before the half time whistle meant the sides were locked at 1 - 1.

Second half began and Pershore Town took the lead in the game with some fortune inside the box to allow their midfielder to head beyond Eddie Cox.

Janes' turned to his bench to turn the game on it's head, Ryan Palmer linked with Petar Tonchev to allow the Bulgarian to level the scores before Nick Cox struck from the edge of the area in the last minute to seal three points.

"Obviously we are delighted with the result and the three points, to snatch the points right at the death generates one of the best feelings in football." said Janes.

"In terms of our performance, I thought first half we controlled the game, we looked comfortable and I felt we were dictating the pace and fluency of the game.

"We missed some very good opportunities, but we finally got our goal which I felt we fully deserved. Pershore grab a goal just before half-time after a defensive mix up and they take advantage, I felt we deserved to come in at the break leading.

"Second half we seemed to coast; I was demanding that players showed more aggression in terms of attacking intent as the game was there for us.

"Pershore came out a lot better than their first half, and I would say they deserved to take the lead, a good move by them but poor defending from us inside our own box so we deserved to get punished.

"We decided to make changes in attack, Daccus and Jag did well in the game but when you have the likes of Petar and Ryan Palmer, it is a luxury to introduce them. The changes worked and both players made an impact.

"Ryan set up Petar who took his goal superbly, the mentality was to then go and win the game and take risks. Nick Cox then hits a great strike; I believe it took a slight deflection but he will tell me differently.

"It is an unlikely source in relation to a match winning goal from that distance, but I was delighted for him as he has been a revelation the last two games and he has had a massive impact on the overall team performance.

"I wasn't particularly happy with our quality in the second half, but when you win a game in that manner, you must enjoy the moment.

"Myself and Tom will reflect on the game and discuss specific areas.

"We now must prepare for a tough game on Tuesday night at Dudley Town, we will do everything we can to cause an upset."
