England Deaf scrum-half will become the EDRU Women's Head Coach, as he takes on the role vacated by Ben Mousley, who joins the mens' coaching staff.

Rowland, an experience EDRU player with 14 EDRU International caps, will continue to drive forward the high standards within EDRU women ahead of the 2020/21

Most recently having coached at Burnley Women RFC, has overseen a success period with his club side, securing promotion and a cup win, whilst also leading his team to the National Plate final against Bath Ladies.

On becoming women's Head Coach, Danny said "I have been fortunate to have been guided by some great coaches and people and hope to push things forward, along with the ladies at England Deaf.

I'm really excited to get involved and cannot wait to get started. I hope everybody is staying safe, respecting the lockdown and keeping fit."

We are sure you'll join us in wishing Danny and the girls all the best as we head into the new season.
