The Knights of the Roundy Table gate crashed the Demons training session last week to present them with a cheque for £400 towards their running costs. This has been tireless raised over the season at the KORT banquets and we would like to thank all the left and righthanded drinkers, along with everyone else who attended and contributed.

It has been a tough season for the Demons financially having lost their main sponsor at the start of the season, they were then hit by some chronic travel costs for away games which involved return trips of over 200 miles on four occasions, in fact nearly 300 on one trip to Carlisle and back.

So any support is greatly appreciated and everyone involved with the Demons would like to thank those who have contributed at the KORT banquets.

Well done to the KORT and good luck to the ladies for all their future games.
