20 rugby clubs with over 200 teams expected to take part in the festival

Dear Tigers,

This Sunday, in the lead up to the HSBC Rugby 7s, the world renowned Tigerfest will return and although still not back to the original size due to Covid restrictions we anticipate a great turnout and are welcoming 20 mini rugby clubs with a total of 215 teams to Kings Park.

Please remember that this is our own festival and widely regarded as one of the biggest rugby parties in town. Bringing back a minis festival of that size after such a long break is quite a challenge and will inevitably feature a few hiccups.

Therefor we would like to ask you to please help out where you can, make sure you teams are on the right pitch at the right time, assist with coaching and refereeing where you can and, if your little Tigers play in the afternoon, consider helping to clean up Kings Park after the final games.

Also please note that the car park will be closed so please consider using public transport and alight on Wylie Road to avoid clogging up the traffic on Wylie Path.

Good luck to all Tigers, tackle low and party hard, don’t forget your mouth guards and water bottles. Looking forward to see you all tomorrow!

Go Tigers!
