Louis Guest last seasons Player and Young Player Of The Year will be sponsored by exoctifruit for the forthcoming season. Coventry Sphinx FC are grateful for this gesture which will go towards the running costs of the football club. Guest signed on for the forthcoming 2013/14 season along with James Connolly, Ricky Hill and the returning Luke Williams.
Luke Hopkins was hopeful that the majority of last seasons squad will sign a form along with 3 or 4 new signings. " I am confident enough that last seasons squad will sign on the dotted line. We have had a few new faces to training which has freshened things up at the sessions we have had so far. We ear marked 6 players that we wanted to come along to pre season so we could have a look at them and vice versa I like what I see and would like to get them signed on as soon as possible, I realise that they might want to look at other clubs and that's their prerogative but I feel with these players added to the squad we have a good chance of challenging for a top 6 berth and hopefully go on and win some silverware in a cup competition."
