This week we take on Stoke Gifford United, a team we have already beaten 3-0 this season back in September. The last of our three victories before a bad run of six defeats, Stoke Gifford present a tough and physical presence and whilst on top of the previous match for the majority of the game, it took us nearly 70 minutes to finally score our first goal.

Clearly the emphasis will be on getting a goal quickly in this one, and with confidence after last weekends brilliant comeback win at a new high, I hope we can kick on and record back to back victories at home in the penultimate game before the festive break.

In terms of team news, Sam Wilkinson is absent this week on holiday after his fantastic debut last week, Claudio Precup may be in line for a return from injury, and we welcome back skipper Mike Horricks to the squad. Daryl Cox misses this match which could mean a call up for Daniel Iusan from the reserve side.
