CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PARENTS,GUARDIANS AND CARERS.

Cleethorpes RUFC actively encourages the contribution and support of Parents, Guardians and Carers. However, we respectfully remind participants and supporters they act as role models to all players and therefore require a behaviour that adheres to the following code

•Actively promote the prime objective – enjoyment! fair play and applauding the good performances of all

•Encourage your child to learn the rules and play within them.

•Discourage any examples of your child’s unfair play. Never punish or belittle any child for losing or making mistakes.

•Promote respect of all officials and actively discourage any arguing with their decisions.

•Help your child to recognise the importance of good performance, not just results.

•Never force your child to take part in training or playing.

•Publicly accept the judgements and decisions of officials.

•Avoid confrontation with opposition supporters. Walk away but report your concerns to your Head Coach.

•Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their sport.

•Use correct and appropriate language at all times.

•Please ensure that you remain within the club grounds whilst your child is training as training sessions are exactly that – training sessions – they are not child minding sessions

Failure to follow the above code may result in enforcement of the Club’s disciplinary procedures.
