A look back on the weekend of fixtures in our latest round up.

The UNDER 18’s WHITES hosted Woolton Hill Arygle and got off to a slow start which saw them fall behind within 10 minutes of their top of the table clash.

Will Pischel soon dragged the team back level following a shot from the edge of the area.

Clarendon would have fallen behind again from a corner but for a superb goaline clearance from Harvey Palmer.

At the other end Callum Roberts saw a headed effort well saved and so the 1st half ended 1-1.

An early penalty won and converted by Freddie Randall changed the momentum of the game. Suddenly Clarendon were creating chances and Jack Latter found himself at the back post to head home.

Further chances were created but Steph Gilpin and Paddy Clarke blasted wide and Jago King’s free kick rebounded harmlessly from the crossbar.

Nerves started to creep from the touchline on to the pitch as momentum swung as Woolton piled on the pressure. It looked as if the defence was breached with 5 to go but somehow Rollins pulled off a reaction point blank save diving to his right to keep them out.

The UNDER 15’s hosted Pace looking for an improved performance from last time out and started brightly creating a number of chances but poor finishing and good goalkeeping denied them.

The opening goal came on 20 minutes when poor defending allowed them to finish from close.

Charlie Orchard flung himself in the way of a goal bound shot to deny the visitors, while Frankie Moody also hit the bar.

Clarendon wasted a number of chances to level before the equaliser came when a right wing corner fell to Orchard who forced home on the stroke of half time.

The second half was a similar story with a number of golden opportunities go begging as Alfie Harris saw his close range effort saved before Orchard on the stretch steered over.

Josh Howton made a good block to deny Pace, but as has so often happened in their games this season, they were made to pay for the chances missed as Pace steered home to lead 2-1 which soon become 3-1 as they pushed for an equaliser.

With two minutes to go Jacob Earle linked with Moody down the right and the latter beat his man before bursting into the area and firing across the keeper into the far side of the net.

In the last few seconds, a couple of corners caused panic in the Pace box, but the ball wouldn’t fall to a Red and white shirt to apply a finish.

The UNDER 14’s WHITES kept up their hunt for second place with a 7-3 hole win against Tidworth Saracen’s in a strange game.

They raced into a 2-0 lead only to be 3-2 down at the break. But a second half display saw them turn the game round.

Josh Scott and Ellis Mundy both netted twice with Harvey Shord and Oliver Greasley also on the scoresheet.
Completing the scoring was a goal from Arthur Toms who scored his first ever goal for the club.

The UNDER 14’s GREENS were also at home as they beat Alton Panthers 3-0.

A really tight start to the match with both defences on top meant there weren't many chances on goal.
Alton got behind the Greens defence on couple of occasions with some good diagonal passes but couldn't find the shot to finish the move.
The breakthrough came from the Greens in the 22nd minute as Nicola Roche attacked down the right and played a great ball across the 18 yard box for Daisy Harris to guide home at the back post.

Alton started the second half well but didn't make the possession count.
A goal line scramble mid way through the first half saw Oralie King tap the ball in.

Immy Latter rounded out the scoring with a 25-yard strike in to the bottom corner following a save from Roche’ shot.

Roche also hit the upright with a fierce shot as the Greens continued to try and add to their goal tally.

The UNDER 12’s GREENS returned to action by beating AFC Stoneham with a last minute winner securing a 2-1 victory.

Ellie Moore had scored in an even first half which ended 1-1 which is how it stayed until the last kick of the game when Josie White popped up to score a winner.

The UNDER 12’s WHITES picked up three points in their penultimate league fixture of the season with a 5-0 win at home to Shipton Bellinger Rams.

The UNDER 12’s REDS won 6-3 in a friendly against Downton Robins. A hatrick from Brian Mantey and two goals from Harley Moores was added to by a first goal of the season from Isaac Morgan - it had been coming!

After his brother and sister scored in their fixtures, Tom Latter completed a first Latter-sibling treble of the season as he was on the scoresheet in the UNDER 11’s WHITES home game against Monksbrook.

Jake Gamet made a number of eye catching saves in goal and Jay Burden scored a cracking opening goal, with a deft volley from a well delivered corner in the UNDER 11’s REDS friendly at Durrington.

Ollie Webb scored a very well deserved second, a fitting reward for his work rate and creativity throughout the match.

The UNDER 9’s REDS hosted Braishfield Whites and produced a superb performance.

Ellie Dutnall’s strong forward play won the ball in the final third and a well worked throw-in saw Jack’s cross met at the back post by Henry Bowyer to head into the corner.
Provan wrapped up the teams scoring finishing off a lovely 5 player passing move.

The UNDER 9’s WHITES travelled to Shirley Tornados with just 6 players their goal came via Kyan Dreyer after a training ground-esq quick throw-in which saw him through on goal to finish.

Player of the match went to Evie McFadzen for some great chasing back, a superb goal and an even better cross-pitch assist.

UNDER 8’s REDS travelled to Overton Whites, and found the going tough in the first quarter with Overton scoring some cracking goals.

After that the team grew into the game but couldn’t quite get on the scoresheet.

Massive mention to Theo Collins on making his debut who was a workhorse on the pitch and an absolute cat in goal after which won him the player of the match.

Flo Carlisle scored a cracker of a goal for the UNDER 7’s WHITES as they hosted Upper Clatford.

On SUNDAY the SENIOR SIDE reached the final of the Oliver Pidgley Cup with a 4-0 Semi Final win at Barry’s Fields against The Village Freehouse.

Reece Daly’s corner double the lead on 18 minutes before Jordan Cross converted a penalty to make it 3 minutes later.

Dan Clark forced a 4th on the half hour mark via an own goal.

The second half quietened down as the team looked to slow proceedings down and ensure there was no chance of a comeback.
