On Saturday the first team host Tytherington Rocks in Division One West looking to build on an impressive display and subsequent victory last time out against Woodstock.

Manager Peter Osborne though was keen to emphasise to the players this week that the focus was now on the next game and to not be looking back.

Osborne commented " We set about our tasks individually and as a team last week very well and I was pleased with a number of things, Duerds ( Michael Duerden) and Alex Povey topping the day with three goals apiece was especially pleasing.The players know that no game is easy and our work ethic is definitely improving game by game. "

Team news sees the squad hit again by unavailability. Alex Povey is away as is Chris Blakely. The Allen twins Ben and Tom together with Nathan Marland are away at university. The club have made three new signings this week, however two of those are not available due to work commitments. These are Dan Gardner signed from Carterton and James McGowan from Southern League side Kidlington.

The third new signing is available though and it's a welcome back to striker Ollie Hawkins. Ollie was with the club last season but decided to try his luck at Highworth Town in the summer, things haven't quite worked out and the club are delighted to see him back.
