Club History

Chevening Amblers Cricket Club was founded in 1979 - a merge between Chevening, a club needing players, and The Amblers, a club needing a pitch.

Chevening has a rich cricketing heritage of over 400 years, with the earliest-known village cricket match played here in 1610.

Since then we've experienced many of the ups and downs of village cricket.
