Coach James Swift commented at the end of the season "As a coach, I couldn’t have asked for any more. The lads did Chaddesley proud! A great win over Kidderminster 2nd XV both to start and end the season with. This year we have a great group of young talented individuals and it’s worked well them playing as a team.

We will continue to train, nurture and guide them into next season to make an even bigger impact than the one we have just closed out. 12 months ago this club was in dire need of drive and new blood, we got it. Well done yesterday, truly.

Next season we will go into it with not just one coach, but 2. Through James and the newly appointed backs coach - Lee Knight, who today announced his retirement from full time rugby. But what we loose in a player, we gain in an amazing coach to take us to the next level!

I’d like to thank the committee for their support over the last 12 months. And of course thanks goes to Ryan, our captain. Thank you for your tenure and finishing on a high.

We will continue to meet every Tuesday at 7pm for touch sessions and look to enter a 7s tournament in the summer"
