Afternoon all,

Yesterday seen us complete our league campaign at Roseland with an unfortunate defeat and although we haven't achieved the promotion we so desperately wanted, we have certainly not disgraced ourselves at all.

We fulfilled every competitive fixture again this season, which in these times is an achievement in itself.

We can also once again hold our heads high with all of our performances this year. I am particularly drawn to the Liskeard fixture and the Roseland fixture that finished 6-3 at Lane End. Special mention must also go to the Albany away game.

Never once did we drop our heads and stop battling for each other or the Camelford shirt. Never was this more evident than two weeks ago against Lankelly-Fowey when with 14 men after some sustained pressure from the pack Paul Reynolds crashed over to score with Rich Jasper slotting the conversion to level things up.

Or of course yesterday, when just 12 men made the long trip down Cornwall to ensure that we would remain in 3rd place, whatever the outcome.

We only marginally missed out on promotion and were in fact mathematically still in the race until just 2 or 3 weeks ago!

Only yesterday Roseland commented that we were the toughest team they'd faced all season.

We should all be very proud of the season we've had and the roles we as individuals have played in a team that has made massive strides toward Cornwall 1 and I have no doubt that next year, will be our year.

We now look toward our end of season friendlies and a bit of social drinking.

My personal thanks to all that were involved, whether you're a supporter, player, coach, committee member, photographer or WAG, we couldn't do it without any of you.
