1. Chobham Burymead FC (History

Burymead FC was formed in 1961 from Burymead House, Portsmouth Road, Guildford Surrey. (Social Club Team). At the time we had three teams playing in the Guildford & District League.

We moved to Holloway Hill, Godalming, Surrey from the Sands, Farnham, Surrey in 1987 and remained at Holloway Hill until 1998 when we moved to the recreation ground in Bisley, Surrey.

In 2005 out first two youth teams joined Burymead playing in the West Surrey Boys & Surrey Primary League.

At the start of the 2010 / 2011 season we had a Senior First & Reserve Team playing in the Surrey Intermediate League (Western). A vets (Over 35's) team playing in the Farnham Sunday Veterans League. A 'Boys U13 & U15 team and a Girls U12 team all playing in the North East Hants Youth League.

After paying Bisley Parish Council a total over £5,000 for the pavilion, training facilities and pitch hire during the 2010/2011 season because they had doubled the pavilion hire, it made it impossible for us to remain at Bisley. Fortunately Chobham Parish Council were looking for a football club to take over the Chobham, Recreation Ground facilities and from the candidates Burymead FC were the preferred choice and we gratefully accepted the opportunity.

We moved to Chobham in June 2011 and during the BFC AGM changed our club name to Chobham Burymead FC. Chobham FC Manager Martin Ansell and the players from Chobham Football club were welcomed into Chobham Burymead FC to help improve the standard of our first team football.

We hope we can settle in Chobham and have a long lasting relationship with Chobham Parish Council and the parishioners of Chobham. We are very grateful for the local supporters who regularly turn out to watch our matches this season.

2012 / 2013 Season
After a great first season at Chobham, we are welcoming on board Joe Smith (Chobham Youth) who is introducing mini-football, starting with a Boys U8 team with more age groups hopefully to follow.
2014 Season

After gaining promotion last season we have had a successful season finishing third in the Premier League and losing in the semi final of the League Cup. We gained two key players who made a massive difference to our club.
Chobham Burymead will have a new Ladies team this year, playing in the Greater London Women's League on Sundays.
The Ladies (formally Cobham FC) were founded 6 years ago and started off in The Surrey County Ladies League where they won the league once and runners-up in two-cup finals.
Last season, the Ladies moved to The Greater London Women's League and they won Division Three South and also won The Sue Sharples Memorial Trophy.
