'Look, Here Come The Girls'
LIFE is good at Burymead.
The Bisley-based club introduced its first girls' team at U11 as well as an U12 boys outfit.
Playing at the recreation ground in the village, both enjoyed good first seasons, the girls in the North East Hants Youth League Premier Division where they finished fifth.
Their manager / chairman Ivor Connolly said: "It is great for the club to see a girls team join the youth set-up at Burymead.
"The highlight of the girls season was coming runners up in the league cup final played at Fleet Spurs FC, a great achievement along with our new U12s boys who were third in the NEHYL Division Two, and runners-up in the NEHYL Ash Trophy".
