Bletchley U15s were up for the game this week more than any other after finding out that former Bletchley senior player #9 CUAN MACKENZIE has sadly passed away this week.

All the mini and Junior sections gathered and joined the U15s across the pitch to pay their respects in a minutes silence for Cuan.

As soon as the whistle blew to start the game, Bletchley were hot out the blocks. Bletchley had the bit between their teeth and Bletchley hooker #2 MAC D led from the front rucking hard with the boys to win Bletchley’s own ball and counter rucking a great deal of BBOB’s. Bletchley’s #8 Luke F carried well and constantly made headway into the opposition’s half off of the scrum.

This was forcing BBOB to commit more lads to the tackle area and leaving them open at the back. Bletchley #12 NATHAN D was hot on this and started to put in the little chips over the top into space for #11 BILLY W to chase down and gather. More often than not BILLY W was able to do this and got Bletchley the ball back but now well within the opposition’s 22.

Great hands down the line from the backs sore them crashing over the try line via the wings and Bletchley’s off load game was on point, keeping the ball alive proved deadly and sore try’s coming thick and fast in Bletchley’s favour.

BBOB’s heads didn’t drop and they fought to the final blow of the whistle. A great display of team spirt.
