Birstall 1st XI got off to a winning start
Away at Hunslet Nelson
Hunslet batting first were bowled out for 156.
Alex Drake took 3/21, Rob Mcfarlane 2, Saif Ul Reyman 2 &
Craig Wood 3 all chipped in with vital wickets.
Woody 44 opened the batting with Eric Austin & played a solid innings.
James Keen 26 & Nick Kaye 55 not out were excellent seeing birstall to a great win.
Birstall had out there Youngest team for many years & if they can continue
Like this they could cause a few upsets this time round.
