Club Vision

Bedford Cricket Club will be the pre-eminent club in the county, with a vibrant junior set-up feeding a thriving and successful adult section.

On-field success will be matched off the field, with the Club establishing itself as genuinely central to the local community, in facilities befitting Bedford’s status as a major population centre.

Success will be measured in terms not only of match results, but also – amongst other things –increased membership, larger numbers of players playing representative cricket, more junior players graduating to the adult teams, greater proportion of the membership actively participating in Club activities, and the facilities being used more regularly and widely.

Opinions of the membership will be actively encouraged. Not everyone’s wishes can be accommodated all the time, but the key is that goals are established collaboratively and collectively, and that members all then work together to achieve them.

By working together to deliver this vision, members will be proud to say that they belong to Bedford Cricket Club.
