Match Preview

Here we go then...
Another new season is on the horizon and Astons CC is the destination for it all to get under way (weather permitting!).
Many thanks to those of you who made yourselves available for selection.
Had the luxury of being able to select from 12 this week hence the addition of a reserve in John Kendall.
John will of course get first pick next weekend as he has indicated his further availability beyond this weekend and where possible, we will endeavour to continue this policy throughout the season.
In case you haven't seen the note on the other page, the opposition will be providing a tea for this fixture but do of course feel free to bring along your own provisions should you still wish.

Sadly I can't join you this weekend as I will be at work either nursing a strong automatic promotion-related hangover or dreading the prospect of an extended Championship season with the inevitable tragic ending.
