Rob brings great experience to the club having been Reserve team manager at Cheshunt, first team assistant manager at Waltham Forest and U21 manager with Billericay Town.

He's also been an Academy Scout with Premier League side Leicester City for two seasons now.

Rob's also a qualified football coach, boxing coach and has further
qualifications in sports psychology and counselling.

He also works in the Kopa Sunday League for New Salamis FC.

He has had the following to say about his appointment:

"My aims for Barkingside are simply to assist Gus the manager in evaluating the current playing group and get them into a way of playing which suits the current crop of players.

"We will now doubt modify the player base where needed and very simply the job is to keep the club in the Ryman North.

"The league is competitive and it's fair to say we can't compete with any of the other clubs in terms of facility and finances, however we will try to compete 100% in every game."
