The new manager and his squad of new players are set to kick off the season at home to Castle Cary in the Somerset County League First Division. With as many as 10 players making their Banwell debuts, all eyes will be on the season opener at the Riverside to see how the new squad copes with their first big challenge. Thompsons complete overhaul of the Banwell squad has seen him bring in a young exciting squad, with several players under 18. The only player to remain from last season is captain Ashley White who says he is "extremely excited" for the new season.
