It's been a funny few weeks for the team as they looked to clinch the league title. They dropped points to 8th placed Shooting Staines and 6th placed Wraysbury meaning they would need to get points from the higher placed teams. With a recent defeat to Slough Wizards it meant that Maidenhead Cosmos were back in the title race and picked up some good wins to put the pressure on BAA. So last Sunday the top two teams in the league met to decide the title.

A close game was won by a single goal as BAA won 1-0 to secure the title which many had thought they won a long time ago, but its not over until its over - Lenny Kravitz.

I want to thank Maidenhead Cosmos for being a very good rival, we played them three times and although we beat them three times it was only by a single goal in each game (4-3, 2-1 & 1-0). They were easily the best team we came up against in the league this season and if they had of gone on to win it they would of deserved it. Well done lads and thank you for the competition.

I don't want to go into too much detail of the game as we will save that for the match report. But everyone on the day gave 100%, despite the game we seemed to be free of pressure and played some good football and got the result we wanted and deserved.

Its been a long season, we had some cup runs which has seen us play 30 games this season. The commitment from some waned at times but the core stayed together and a big thank you to everyone who contributed. We need to enjoy our title win and learn from the season if we want more success ahead.

Time to dance to our success, we have come a long way within three seasons of existence.
