On a lovely sunny day but without Craig Page due to a broken nose and Riki Forder due to injury , the A's worked hard for their point.
Once again United had almost all the support at the game but the A's were not at the best throughout the afternoon.
Early on Cooper played a wonderful ball into the path of the Acle winger who saw his shot battered away for a corner. United were forcing a number of corners but the game changing incident came when Ben Lewis rose above all at the far post to head home. The Acle players claimed the ball had crossed the line but had no help from the linesman and the referee chose not to award the goal.
Acle had 2 bookings in the half and without play maker Ricki Forder it was mostly long ball stuff and although United held the balance of play, niether side created many chances until Bradly Hough sent in a stinging shot that Kirby brilliantly turned away.
Ben Lewis was Man of the Match, as he won almost every header he went for in the game, but at times the Acle wingers were in a different parish and couldn't capitalise on his contribution.
United lost Sam Brooks to a head injury but in truth both sides cancelled out each other out with few clear cut chances.
The teams turned round 0-0 and it was much of the same in the second half.
Dugdale got loose a couple of times after the break but on a bumpy pitch the ball never ran for him and the deadlock could not be broken.
Norbury beat his man and was getting away from his marker as he moved towards the box but referee Catchpole surprisingly failed to use his yellow card which disappointed most of the Acle fans and indeed their players.
So Acle will reflect on the dropping of two points, and will need to be at it on Tuesday if they are to continue their brilliant run against a talented Aylsham side.
