The Wood showed their strength in character to be in the draw on Monday for the 3rd Round, following a nail biting penalty shootout win 5-3 against Hemel Hempstead Town FC from The National League South.

The game ended 1-1 after The Wood equalised in the 75min and survived the last 10mins with 10 men, following a sending off.
