20200912 - Ingles FC v Teversal FC

The goals from today's EMCFL season opener in which Teversal travelled to Shepshed's Dovecote ground to play Ingles FC. With a squad built virtually from scratch over the past fortnight, the Tevie Boys took the lead on 24 minutes when they were awarded a penalty for a trip in the area. Tom Batterham stepped up and calmly slotted the ball past the home side's keeper. But Ingles were level before the break when Dean Copson, on 37 minutes, got a feint touch on a cross into the area that sent the ball past hte keeper and into the corner of the net. The winner came just before the hour mark, Mitch Woodbine volleyed the ball home to give the home side the three points. Full time : Ingles FC 2-1 Teversal FC
