After getting a bye in Round One, Teversal FC Ladies were drawn away to Arnold Town Ladies in the following round.
However, the Arnold Town Ladies team folded after they advertised for players during the Covid pandemic but didn't get enough takers to keep the team going.
Presumably they had re-affiliated to Notts FA, who placed them in the Women's County Cup draw as per normal, but following their withdrawal from their league, they were left in the Cup in error.
A SMS message from FAFullTime today has shown that the fixture has been changed from 'Normal' to 'Away Walkover' giving Teversal FC Ladies a bye into Round Three and into the last eight.
The two teams last faced each other in the same competition in the 2019/20 season when unlucky Teversal conceded thirteen without reply. The Arnold Town Ladies made it all the way to the semi-final losing out to Nottingham Forest Women Reserves. The final that season was never played due to the Covid pandemic.
