THE 200 CLUB

The basic features of the 200 Club are as follows: Lottery tickets will be sold as a ‘bundle’ of 12 single entry tickets, to be entered into 12 consecutive draws from the start of the subscription year
For a payment of £10.00 per draw, you will be allocated a number which will be entered into a monthly draw with fellow members (Example draw income will be £24,000 per year if 200 contributors take part) 40% of the total proceeds will be allocated as prizes. (This would be equivalent to £9,600 per year if all 200 tickets sold).
Indicative monthly prize sums based on a set number of subscribers would
be: (see notes 11&12 below) 50 Tickets Sold: 1st prize £100, 2nd prize £70 & 3rd prize £30 100 Tickets Sold: 1st prize £200, 2nd prize £140 & 3rd prize £60 200 Tickets Sold: 1st prize £400, 2nd prize £280 & 3rd prize £120

Additional subscribers will be able to join during the year on a monthly payment basis. Anyone can buy more than one set of entry tickets by simply purchasing additional tickets from the seller.

1 The “200 Club” will be operated under The Gambling Act 2005, which deals with a Small Society Lottery. The promoter will be the Chairman, Grimsby Borough Football Club Committee.

2. The Grimsby Borough Executive Management Committee reserves the right to alter the Rules of the “200 Club” from time to time, as may be necessary. A copy of the current Rules will be available on our website:

3. All profits made by the “200 Club” will be used to support the maintenance of facilities required by all teams as well as running costs.

4. The 200 Club will generally be limited in membership to members who are associated with Grimsby Borough FC (but see also paragraph 12).

5. The subscription will be £10.00 per month, collected either in a single payment of £120 via bank transfer or monthly (£10) by standing order to be paid before the 10th day of each month. On receipt of a single annual payment or a completed standing order form, the applicant will be allocated a Draw Number. For each additional annual payment of £120, an additional Draw Number will be allocated.

6. A draw will take place every month for cash prizes. Winners of prizes will be notified by email, they will also be notified via the Club’s website and Social Media accounts. The results of the draw will be open for inspection and published at the Social Lounge @ Lucarlys notice board.

7. A minimum of 40% of the total annual subscriptions will be paid out in the form of cash prizes; for this purpose the “200 Club” year will run from 1st February to 31st January.

8. The draws will be conducted by 3 people, one of whom will be the Chairman of the Club (or in his/her absence the Vice Chairman).

9. No “200 Club” participant will be included in the draw if the appropriate subscription has not been received. The promoter reserves the right to reallocate any Draw Number where payment has not been received on time.

10. Prizes will be paid by cash which will be issued only to the person holding the winning number.

11. In the event of there being less than 200 participants, prizes shall be awarded on a pro rata basis of the actual number of members at the time of the draw.

12. In the event of there being more than 200 applications to join the “200 Club”, the Club will issue the required number of Draw Numbers to satisfy demand and prizes will be awarded on a pro rata basis of the actual number of members at the time of the draw.

13. Participants can cancel their entry in the 200 Club at any time by giving one month’s written notice to the Treasurer. Any decision by Grimsby Borough FC’s Management Committee to wind up the “200 Club” will also be by one month’s written notice. Under no circumstances can any payments be refunded.
