“We are a family at Chelmsford City” says, Chairman Steve Shore. “Our family is the thing I have always been most proud of at this club. We already have teams across a range of ages, genders and abilities but in line with our values, we constantly strive to grow our Club and those associated with it to achieve the success they deserve. Therefore, the launch of an Academy is an important milestone for both the Club and our Community.”

Chelmsford City F.C’s Academy was recently launched with Moulsham High School. As part of their new strategic plan, ensuring all young footballers at the Club have a clear development pathway that maximises opportunities for progression was deemed a priority area and as a result the Academy has been launched.

On the football front, training sessions and matches will be integrated with the academic timetable and as part of the Chelmsford City F.C. Academy, players will join a squad that participates in a fixture programme consisting of other National League Academies and the prestigious F.A. Youth Cup.
