Match Preview

This Saturday we welcome Mid Argyll to Birkmyre Park for our return league fixture.

Back in early Sept, Birkmyre travelled to Oban and defeated their opponents 43-10 in the first match of the season, although this was Mid Argyll's inaugural league match back in the West League structure.

Birkmyre has more or less a full squad to choose from and will be hoping to consolidate their place at the top of the league. They currently sit top on 31 point, two points clear of their closest rivals Irvine but also have a game in hand and a superior points difference. Mid Argyll had a slow start to their campaign but have picked up a couple of wins recently to help them climb the table.
